Cocktail SERVER

Traegers is a fantastic place to work!  Our high expectations and attention to detail are what our patrons love and what sets our team apart.  Yeah, we know, there is a lot listed on this page but it basically boils down to this: we take GREAT care of our guests and work as a team, we do things the right way every time, we work hard and fast, and we have fun doing it!   • Serving with a large section quickly and efficiently

  • Communicating orders clearly with the bar staff and fellow teammates

  • Closing out guests in a timely fashion

  • Knowledge of cocktails, wine, and beer

  • Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks

  • Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations

  • Check every customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age

  • Greets newly seated guests’ in a friendly and timely manner

  • Accurately takes guests’ orders

  • Maintains a thorough understanding of all menu items and is able to answer questions regarding drink items and their preparation

  • Ensures ongoing guest satisfaction by checking back after delivery of drinks, maintaining drink levels, removing clutter, pre‐bussing as necessary, and responding to guest needs in a timely manner

  • Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company team members to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate and help keep high morale, productivity and efficiency/effectiveness

  • Must demonstrate ability to operate POS system, make changes, accurately conduct credit card transactions, and account of all monies at the end of each shift

  • Listen to hear guests’ orders and needs, and then communicate with guests verbally and with other team members verbally via POS system

  • Stay guest focused and nurture a positive guest experience

  • Creates a warm, fun atmosphere for guest and team members

  • Adheres to sanitation procedures

  • Completes opening/closing duties in a timely manner

  • Completes bar inventories and daily requisition sheets as requested and required

  • Assists other team members as needed or as business dictates




  • Great people and communication skills

  • Flexible schedule, working days, nights, and/or weekends as required

  • Prior experience is a plus but not necessary

  • Computer literacy and ability to quickly learn POS system

  • Relevant training certificates, alcohol and food handling

  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations

  • Must have a team mindset

  • Positive, friendly, patient and helpful attitude towards guests and team members

  • Ability to keep assigned section organized, stocked and clean

  • Follows alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated guests

  • Work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions

  • Dressed in proper dress code requirements, looking neat, clean and professional at all times

  • Read and write handwritten notes

  • Lift and carry up to 30 pounds

  • Carry items up and down stairs

  • Move about facility and stand for long periods of time

  • Walk or stand 100% of shift

  • Reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently
